A little more about me…

I’m a somatic educator and coach who believes there’s a lot more to healing from trauma than changing your mindset and talking about how you feel. As someone who’s both lived with the effects of complex trauma for as long as I can remember and worked with the body professionally for over 20 years, I’m clear that nervous system regulation and somatic support is a missing piece for many people struggling to heal. While I don’t know you, I do know this: your body needs to feel safe before the healing you want can happen.

Your own path to embodied safety will be unique to you, and there are science-based, trauma-informed principles and practices that can reliably guide you there. I’m here to help you put those pieces together through a mindful, compassionate approach that radically respects exactly where you are.

When I say that my work is trauma-informed, it feels important to share some of my background that makes that possible. Below are some of the more significant professional trainings and experiences that shape and inform the work I do today:

  • Integrative Somatic Trauma Therapy Certificate with The Embody Lab (currently enrolled)
